Speech Therapy That Fits Real Life
Celebrated Minds Speech Therapy is a relationship-centered private practice providing personalized speech and communication therapy for children, teens, and adults across Northern Virginia, with teletherapy services available for clients in both Virginia and California. Our mission is to support meaningful, functional communication through individualized care that honors each person’s unique strengths, communication style, and everyday life.
We specialize in working with individuals with complex communication needs, including autistic individuals, AAC users, gestalt language processors, and clients with multiple diagnoses or higher support needs. Therapy is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and designed to support communication in ways that feel authentic, functional, and sustainable for each individual and family.
We offer therapy in-home, in the community, online, or in an office setting in McLean depending on client preference and clinical appropriateness. While we are happy to provide services across settings, we often recommend therapy in natural environments whenever possible to support generalization, caregiver involvement, and meaningful participation in everyday routines and activities.
In addition to pediatric services, we also provide speech and voice therapy for adults, including individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Kate Boeh, M.A., is a certified SPEAK OUT! provider through Parkinson Voice Project and supports adults experiencing changes in voice, speech clarity, cognitive-communication, and overall communication confidence.
At Celebrated Minds, we believe communication should never be one-size-fits-all. We are passionate about creating supportive, affirming spaces where individuals of all ages can build connection, confidence, and communication in ways that work best for them.
Let’s celebrate your voice, your way.
About Kate, M.A.
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
I’m Kate Boeh, a speech-language pathologist based in Northern Virginia providing services in-home, in the community, online, and in an office setting in McLean. Originally from San Diego, I recently relocated to Northern Virginia and continue to provide teletherapy services for clients located in both Virginia and California.
I earned my undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and later completed my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Since becoming an SLP, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, but my passion has always centered around supporting people with more complex communication needs.
Much of my experience has involved working with autistic individuals, AAC users, gestalt language processors, and clients with multiple diagnoses or higher support needs. I enjoy helping families and individuals find communication supports and strategies that feel meaningful, practical, and sustainable within everyday life.
My therapy style is neurodiversity-affirming, individualized, and relationship-centered. I believe communication looks different for everyone, and therapy should adapt to the individual—not the other way around. Because of this, I often recommend therapy within natural environments whenever possible. Sessions may take place at home, out in the community, virtually, or in-office depending on what best supports the client and their goals.
In addition to pediatric services, I also work with adults with Parkinson’s disease and am a certified SPEAK OUT! provider through Parkinson Voice Project. I enjoy supporting adults experiencing changes in speech, voice, and cognitive-communication skills while helping them maintain confidence and connection in daily life.
At the heart of my work is the belief that communication is deeply personal. My goal is always to create a supportive space where people feel understood, respected, and empowered to communicate in ways that feel authentic to them.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to connecting with you.

Community-based sessions support communication in real-life settings such as parks, libraries, stores, coffee shops, or other natural environments. We often recommend therapy within natural environments whenever possible, as it helps support generalization and carryover of skills into everyday life. These settings allow therapy to feel more functional, meaningful, and directly connected to each individual’s daily routines and communication needs.
